Emirates use kids goodie bags to promote Dubai flights
05.08.07
Kids arriving at Newcastle Airport over the summer are being given a special Emirates' goodie bag to promote the launch of the airline's new route to Dubai, which takes off in 3 weeks time (September 1).
Emirates staff at the airport are handing out thousands of brightly coloured ruck sacks at the airport's arrival gates to kids as they return home from holidays or fly in to the airport. Inside the bags are fold-out maps of the world, coloured pencils and Emirates' luggage tags, as well as a copy of a colourful magazine produced exclusively for Emirates' young fliers.'
An airline spokesman said: 'We realise the importance of providing the best possible service for our customers, including the very youngest of them. We hope this giveaway will get people in the North East excited about the family friendly service they can expect on Emirates.'
Emirates will operate a daily non-stop flight to Dubai, providing passengers with access to an increasingly popular holiday destination or the chance to connect with 20 onward destinations on the Emirates' network. Newcastle striker Michael Owen, who owns a property in Dubai, is bound to be pleased.
