Eastern most punctual airline from Newcastle

UK regional airline Eastern Airways has been named the most punctual scheduled airline at Newcastle Airport. The latest figures on airline punctuality from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for the period January to September 2008 show that more than 89% of its flights departed within 15 minutes of the scheduled time (defined by the CAA as 'on time')..
Average delays at Newcastle for the airline’s flights they were six and a half minutes. Eastern Airways’ ground services manager, Roger Hage said: ‘We have consistently been rated Newcastle’s most punctual airline for a number of years and we’re on target to be top for a third year at the airport.'
