easyJet put summer 2008 flights on sale

easyJet has put flights from summer 2008 on sale from Newcastle Airport. This is part of a growing trend of releasing flights early, which is producing dividend for airlines in terms of higher average fares, stronger bookings and an early boost to their cashflow. Also, by releasing flights on a phased basis, they lessen the strain on their website and customer contact centres too.
The airline's remaining summer schedule, including flights from Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and its European bases will be released over the next few weeks.
