BA employee to face terror charges
11.03.10
A British Airways worker arrested last month in a police raid on one of the carrier's workplaces has been charged with plotting a terrorist attack and raising money for terrorists, the Times reports. Rajib Karim, 30, who worked at a BA call centre in Newcastle, is to face three terror charges today when he appears before magistrates in London.
Anti-terrorist sources advised The Times that investigations are ongoing into possible communication between Mr Karim and militants in Yemen from where al-Qaeda launched its failed attempt to bring down a US airliner over Detroit on Christmas day.
