Jet2 announce winter Alicante flights

Jet2 has announced a new winter route to Alicante from Newcastle Airport. The flights will operate up to three times a week during the winter from November until 25 March 2012. Due to increased popularity of its winter sun destinations from Newcastle, the budget airline has also added an additional Saturday service to Tenerife starting November 2011.
Ian Doubtfire, managing director of Jet2, said: ‘With an average of 325 days of sun in Alicante each year, it is not surprising this is a popular winter sun destination. We are delighted to be able to extend our Alicante operation into the coming winter season.’
Jet2 flies to 22 destinations from Newcastle Airport: Alicante, Chambery, Corfu, Cork, Crete, Cyprus, Dalaman, Faro, Geneva, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Krakow, Lanzarote, Majorca, Malaga, Menorca, Murcia, Pisa, Prague, Rhodes, Tenerife and Toulouse.
