New store concept opens

Passengers flying from Newcastle Airport have a new shopping experience on offer, following the opening of the new Biza store last week. The 1000 sqm (10,760 sq ft) store offers an ‘inspirational, exciting and satisfying’ airport shopping experience, Alpha Retail, the company behind the new store, claim.
Biza, which takes its name from the word bazaar, offers a boutique-style grouping of products that includes a selection of items exclusive to the store. The walk-through shop groups products into ‘hubs’, each with a distinct visual identity.
Reg Curtis, UK managing director of the Alpha, said that the aim of the brand is to offer an ‘emotive and engaging’ shopping experience. The Biza concept will be introduced in the company’s stores at Manchester and East Midlands airports in the coming months.
