Summer Toronto flights confirmed

Weekly flights from Newcastle Airport to Toronto will be operated again next summer, the 17th year running the airport has had the route. The flights, which will be operated by Air Transat in association with Canadian Affair, will be operated between May and September 2010.
Graeme Mason, head of corporate affairs at the airport, said: ‘This prestigious service linking Newcastle and Toronto is important for our region, which is why we are continuing to support it. We will work closely with our partners at Canadian Affair to make it a success.’
