Eastern announce new Norway route
28.08.09
Eastern Airways is to launch two new daily weekday services to Bergen, Norway, from Aberdeen and Newcastle airports on October 5. A spokesman for the regional airline said that the introduction of the routes demonstrates Eastern Airways’ commitment to expanding services between the UK and Norway.
As Norway’s second largest city, Bergen is the latest addition to the airline’s network, which already includes services to Oslo from Aberdeen, and to Stavanger from both Aberdeen and Newcastle.
The new Bergen flight timings also offer convenient connections from Durham Tees Valley, Humberside, East Midlands and Wick via Aberdeen. Passengers flying to Bergen from Birmingham, Cardiff and Southampton can connect onto Eastern Airways’ Newcastle service.
