Traffic congestion near the airport on Sunday

The 2007 BUPA Great North Run will take place in Newcastle this Sunday (September 30). As a result passengers travelling to or from Newcastle Airport that day have been warned to expect traffic congestion due to road closures for the race. Passengers travelling to the airport in particular are urged to allow extra time for the journey to ensure that you will be able to check in on time.
