Thomson announce Barbados flights

Thomson Airways announced Barbados as a new destination from Newcastle Airport for winter 2011, with fares starting from £679 per person return. In addition to Thomson and First Choice holidays on the Caribbean island, the new flights will also allow customers to join the Thomson Dream for Caribbean cruises.
Newcastle Airport’s aviation director, Chris Sanders, said: ‘This new direct route to Barbados is fantastic news for the airport and the North East. A first for Newcastle, it strengthens the choice offered to customers in the winter season, offering something a bit different.'
