Copenhagen flights announced

Flights between Newcastle and Copenhagen will launch in March following an announcement by Danish airline Cimber Air. The airline will offer a daily service on the route, with return tickets starting from £90, including fees and charges.
The first flights will take off on March 25 and will offer a 1 hour 45 minute journey time between the North East and the Danish capital. Cimber Air is the second largest airline operating from Copenhagen, and it is hoped the new flight will boost business links between the two cities.
