easyJet launch Malta flights

easyJet’s first flight between Newcastle and Malta took off on Friday, with a load factor of approximately 90%. Passengers on the maiden journey were welcomed in Malta with small gifts.
Carly Brear, the budget airline's UK manager, said: ‘We are delighted to have started flights between Malta and Newcastle. We will operate flights to Malta from Newcastle on Mondays and Fridays.'
