easyJet announce new Murcia route

easyJet has announced a new route between Newcastle Airport to the Spanish city of Murcia. The new 3 times weekly (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) service will take off on May 17. Seats are available now from £23.99 one way including tax.
David Osborne, easyJet UK General Manager, said: 'Murcia is a popular destination from our other bases in the UK. Now independent travellers from the North-East can take advantage of this new service to one of the Spain's most popular city's, which also provides easy access to the picturesque Costa Dorada.'
This new route will increase the number of easyJet destinations at Newcastle Airport to 17. The airline expects to carry 41,000 passengers on the new route in the first 12 months of operation.
